Get the Look this Halloween with Beever

Posted on October 28 2012

The Bride of Frankenstein is a great look for Halloween. It requires a lot of work, a lot of ratting and some time, but it will pay off with an impressive, dramatic look. It is a look that works well with a variety of hair types and lengths, but works best with shoulder-length hair. Longer hair tends to be more difficult to work with. What you’ll need for the costume: •    White dress with sleeves •    Cover up or concealer in white + a white pressed power •    Dark green, lime green, gold and black eye shadow •    False lashes •    Liquid eyeliner •    Red lipstick •    Black and white jumbo eye pencils Old school crimping gets a revival with this scary, wild Halloween style! What you’ll need for the incredible bride of Frankenstein hair: A crimping iron Beever Spritz Fix Beever Roost Boost A a comb to tease your hair Hair grips White coloured spray to add the creepy streaks.
  • Start off by spraying a small amount of hairspray all over your head – the Beever Root Boost and Spritz fix will do just the job! The hairspray will make the crimping process easier, and give it more effect.
  • Divide your hair into 1/3-inch sections and crimp from the roots down (yes, old school!). Crimp the sections until you have completely crimped all of your hair. (do you feel like you’re back at a school disco yet?!)
  • At the crown of your head, tease the hair all the way to the roots. This will create a base for your ‘wild hair style’. Apply a lot of hairspray to hold everything in place.
  • Take the surrounding sections, and tease lightly. Spray the sections well to attach them to the base you have created. Using a backcombing method, work the style into a cone shape as you tease and spray the outside sections.
  • After you have completed teasing and spraying your hair, and you have the desired cone shape and look of your style, spray all over with hairspray to ensure that the look will hold for the entire night.
  • Last, but not least, spray a white line, starting just above your ears, in an upward diagonal to the ends of your hair, with the white-colored hair spray.
Happy Halloween!
